Activities scheduled for WAIS 2026!

Aloha! This year's program session topics were designed to be thought-provoking and to maximize attendee engagement. The educational program will dedicate Q&A with expert panels for most sessions. Additionally, the very popular WAIS sunrise yoga will be featured daily and of course, the annual Coons Cup tournament will be held on Monday afternoon. Our goal is to create a culture of mutual care with both education and revitalization programs for our Interventional Radiology community. Descriptions of WAIS 2026 extracurricular activities are below.

Welcome Reception - Kick off the WAIS Conference in style at our annual Welcome Reception! As the sun sets, join fellow attendees for an evening of great conversations, new connections, and a warm WAIS welcome. Whether you're catching up with industry colleagues, expanding your network, or meeting new WAIS members for the first time, this casual gathering is the perfect way to start the conference.

Enjoy hosted cocktails, light appetizers, and plenty of opportunities to mingle. We look forward to seeing you there from 5:15–6:45 p.m.!

Sunrise Yoga - Clarity, creativity, and peace of mind and body are benefits of a sunrise yoga. This activity will begin each morning at 6 am (Sunday - Wednesday). All attendees, exhibitors, faculty and guests are invited to join this activity. Towels will be provided by Wailea Beach Resort or bring your own if you prefer.

Coons Cup Golf Tournament - Tee off for one of WAIS’s favorite traditions! Join us Monday from 1–6 PM at the iconic Wailea Golf Club for an afternoon of friendly competition, stunning views, and unforgettable fun on the course. Gather your team and compete for bragging rights and awards including Best Team, Men’s & Women’s Longest Drive, and Men’s & Women’s Closest to the Pin. Whether you’re playing to win or just enjoying the day in paradise, the Coons Cup promises great golf, great company, and plenty of memorable moments. Must be pre-registered for this activity.

Final Night Awards Banquet & Luau - Celebrate an unforgettable finale at our spectacular capstone networking event!
