Once your CV is received, membership application reviews typically take no more than 1-2 weeks. If approved, you will be notified by email, your membership status will be activated and you will begin enjoying benefits immediately. Your application fee will be transferred to your annual dues for the current year. Membership applications are reviewed from December 1st to May 31st. If your application is received between June 1st and November 30th, it sill be held until the next review cycle.

Do I Qualify for WAIS Membership? |
1. Membership Region
Are you currently an MD practicing in a state or province within the WAIS Region? (15 Western States & BC Canada) If Yes, then proceed to #2 | 2. Board Certified MD
Are you a Board Certified MD practicing as an attending physician in the field of Interventional Radiology for at least 2 years? If Yes, then proceed to application |

SUSPENDED MEMBERS
If you have previously been awarded a WAIS membership but have received a suspension notice due to a lapse in dues payment, please do not submit a new application. To inquire about your membership status please contact WAIS at susan@westernangio.org.
APPLICATIONS NOT APPROVED
If you do not qualify for membership, WAIS will refund your membership applications minus a $50 processing fee. Non-members are invited to attend the annual conference while space is available. Non-member registration is opened after the member registration period (typically in March of each year).
